Volleyball Recap: Sheboygan Falls Falls Short of Kewaskum in the Playoffs

Sheboygan Falls and Kewaskum squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Sheboygan Falls had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Indians. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 22-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Sheboygan Falls' loss came despite strong showings from Meygan Thelen and Kenley Mortenson. Thelen had 11 digs and two assists, while Mortenson had 15 digs and eight kills. Thelen is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Sheboygan Falls' loss dropped their record down to 23-20. As for Kewaskum, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-17.

Sheboygan Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kewaskum, they will square off against Xavier at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
