The Liberty County Bulldogs are on the road again on Monday and plays the Sneads Pirates on February 5th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Liberty County put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They blew past Emmanuel Christian 44-19. The team accrued 32 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.
Liberty County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Caleigh Peddie out in front who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriella Flowers, who scored 15 points.
Sneads fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They enjoyed a cozy 45-28 win over Wewahitchka on Thursday.
China Keys went supernova for Sneads, dropping a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ella Sprouse, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.
Liberty County's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3. As for Sneads, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-14 record this season.
Liberty County strolled past the Pirates in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 47-33. Does Liberty County have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Pirates turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
