Gardendale came tearing into Wednesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Albertville Aggies 13-1. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won nine contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Gardendale's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Albertville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9-1.

Coming up, Gardendale will host McAdory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Albertville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-4 victory against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy on the 26th.
