The Holy Trinity Titans fell victim to the Monsignor Farrell Lions''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They had to suffer through a rough 36-0 loss at the hands of the Lions. Having soared to a lofty 34 points in the game before, Holy Trinity couldn't push the score so high this time.
Leading Monsignor Farrell to victory were Nafis Muhammad and Cristian Pinto. Muhammad rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, while Pinto threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes.
Holy Trinity has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Monsignor Farrell, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Holy Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Monsignor Farrell will take on Iona Prep at 7:00 p.m. on November 11th. Iona Prep is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
