Valeo Academy has struggled against Christian Life recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Several Fire players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Diego Aguilar, who scored 14 points along with five steals. It was the first time this season that Aguilar grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lukas Duda, who scored 14 points.
Valeo Academy dropped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Christian Life, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.
