The Alpharetta Raiders entered their tilt with the Johns Creek Gladiators with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Alpharetta blew past Johns Creek, posting a 42-0 victory at home. Considering Alpharetta has won three contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Among those leading the charge was Sean Wilson, who picked up 142 receiving yards and a touchdown. Wilson's longest reception was for an incredible 72 yards.
Alpharetta's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 5-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.3 points per game. As for Johns Creek, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alpharetta will take on Blessed Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Johns Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Pope at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
