Lawrence Academy took a 28-point defeat the last time they faced off against Halifax Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Warriors never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Friday. Those two points were actually the fewest the Warriors have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Lawrence Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.3 points over those games. As for Halifax Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Lawrence Academy and Halifax Academy will both be playing Pungo Christian Academy the next time they take the field. The Warriors will head out to face the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Vikings will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
