Ten must be Tularosa's lucky number: they beat Tohatchi with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Wildcats didn't even let the Cougars on the board, marking the Wildcats' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by seven runs or more this season.

Tularosa's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Tohatchi, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-12 record.

Tularosa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 loss against Dexter on the 7th. Hopefully Tohatchi paid attention to the Wildcats' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
