There wasn't a ton of movement in the power rankings this week, but there was certainly enough to keep things interesting. We'll tackle that and more in this week's report.
Welcome
The Madison offense has been a force to be reckoned with this season, and last week was no different. It picked up a decisive 'W' against Waynesville, finishing up at 64 - 0. At 64 points, that marked Madison's largest margin of victory so far this year. Thanks to its success, Madison cracked into the power rankings and now occupies the 23rd spot.
Can't Touch This
Wyoming's 37 - 7 win over Indian Hill last week had a lot to do with the leadership of junior Evan Prater. Prater ran for 188 yards and also punched in two touchdowns. That performance landed Prater among the top power-ranked players for the week.
No Stoppin 'Em
Carroll and Bishop Fenwick went up, up, and away last week as they combined for the highest point total (83) among all power ranked teams. Bishop Fenwick won a game that couldn't get any closer, slipping by Carroll 42 - 41. Hopefully the win is satisfying enough on its own since Bishop Fenwick actually slipped one place in the power rankings.
