Make it ten blowout wins for the Clopton Hawks this season. They blew past Louisiana 60-36. Winning may never get old, but Clopton sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Leading Clopton to victory were Skylar Parker and Braya Smith. Parker scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Smith scored ten points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Parker has scored all season. Ashlyn Noah was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Clopton is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Louisiana, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.
Clopton will head out on the road to take on the Indians at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Van-Far will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while the Hawks are ranked 72nd). As for Louisiana, they will be playing at home against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
