The Brewster Bears put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 67-42 margin over Reardan. Fans of Brewster have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Brewster found their leader in underclassman Pepper Boesel, who scored 30 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Boesel has scored at least 25% of Brewster's points. Another player making a difference was Paige Wulf, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Brewster pushed their record up to 6-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36 points. As for Reardan, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Brewster will head out on the road to face off against Napavine at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Napavine knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Brewster likes a good challenge. Reardan will finish 2023 at home by hosting Wellpinit at 7:15 p.m. on December 28th.
