The Cascade Cadets can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 62-30 win over Cloverdale on the road. Given Cascade's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 195th, while Cloverdale is ranked 408th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

As a matter of fact, that's the most points Austin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Creedance Chittenden, who scored nine points along with nine steals.
Cascade's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points per game. As for Cloverdale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-17.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 1:30 p.m. on January 13th.
