Michael Say posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over 6.1 innings pitched. He also put up three walks, which were his first of the season.

Coming up, Say and Columbus will host Mater Lakes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Say had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in March of 2024 5-4.
