It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Raiders had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 45-7 victory over Donna. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Alejandro Aparicio was a one-man wrecking crew for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North as he rushed for 193 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns. Aparicio really tore up the turf during one magnificent 89-yard run. Another player making a difference was Jaden Fuentes, who gained 109 total yards and a touchdown.
Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.17 points. As for Donna, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will take on Victoria East at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Victoria East is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Donna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
