The St. Edward's Pirates scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Master's Academy at home to the tune of 76-42. That looming 76-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for St. Edward's yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Edward's to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gary Anderson, who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Anderson scored 15 or more points. Cody Simmonds was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for St. Edward's and bumps their season record up to 2-4. As for Master's Academy, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Odyssey Charter School the next time they take the court. St. Edward's will host Odyssey Charter School at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Master's Academy will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
