Pebble Hills enjoyed a cozy 61-44 win over the Cougars on Tuesday. This was payback for Pebble Hills, who suffered a 56-54 loss the last time these two teams met.
Leading Pebble Hills to victory were Mia Delgado and Jordan Sapien. Delgado scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Sapien scored 18 points along with seven assists and seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Delgado has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Krystal Talavera, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why Franklin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Caitlynn Clark. Despite the final result, she scored 24 points. Clark continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Balsiger, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Pebble Hills is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season. As for Franklin, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-6.
