Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miami Beach). They walked away with a 72-60 victory over the Mourning Sharks on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hi-Tides also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Miami Beach's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Baptiste T, who posted 21 points along with five boards and three steals. Shirpsen Jean was another key player, putting up ten points along with six assists and six steals.

Mourning's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Omari Meda, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Alan Gomez, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 21 points.

With the victory, Miami Beach broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3. As for Mourning, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami Beach will take on Homestead at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Homestead is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.4 points per game this season. As for Mourning, they will challenge Edison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
