Warsaw and Concord squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Warsaw had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Minutemen by a score of 3-2. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Brandt Martin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 11 Ks.

On the hitting side, Grady Nelson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Warsaw's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Concord, their record now sits at 10-14.

As of now, neither Warsaw nor the Minutemen have any future games scheduled.
