Northside - Pinetown hadn't done well against East Carteret recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Northside - Pinetown Panthers took their game with ease, bagging a 65-37 win over the East Carteret Mariners. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.

Northside - Pinetown's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Malachi Moore, who went 5 of 11 en route to 15 points and three steals. Moore has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Memphis Keech, who posted 11 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Northside - Pinetown smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 24 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, East Carteret still got an impressive performance from Jayedon Watson, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points.

Northside - Pinetown's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for East Carteret, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
