Starting off the list is Grand Saline's Jett Taylor, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Taylor rushed for 184 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown.

He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Quitman's probably not too fond of Golightly given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Golightly saw Quitman), he threw for 218 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 12-for-12 passing, and also rushed for 36 yards.

Prairiland was led to victory by Luke Rhoades, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Rhoades wasn't messing around, picking up three sacks, making 15 total tackles, and defending a pass. The contest was his third straight with five or more total tackles dating back to last season.
The win snapped Prairiland's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record. Rhoades and Prairiland will challenge Lone Oak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
