The Disney II Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 43-5 loss at the hands of Chicago Marshall. Disney II was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-2.
Chicago Marshall got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alysha Murphy out in front who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Murphy is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last four games she's played. Janiyah Green was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with 8 steals.
Disney II's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chicago Marshall, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.
Disney II will be playing in front of their home fans against Instituto Health Sciences at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Instituto Health Sciences comes in on a streak of failing to score more than zero points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Chicago Marshall, they will head out on the road to face off against Douglass at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Douglass comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
