Zane Trace and Huntington are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2021, but not for long. The Pioneers will welcome the Huntsmen at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Huntington took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Zane Trace, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, Zane Trace made easy work of Southeastern and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.
Zane Trace was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-15.

Zane Trace can attribute much of their success to Reise Grant, who had nine digs and four assists, and Karlee Snavely, who hit 64% for 17 kills and 11 digs, five aces, and one block. Snavely has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 38 times she's played.
Meanwhile, Huntington came up short against Unioto on Tuesday and fell 3-1.
The 3-1 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 25-22.
Huntington dropped their record down to 12-9 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Zane Trace, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
Zane Trace took their victory against Huntington in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Pioneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huntsmen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
