Valley had a senior duo take command as Brianna Orona went 7 for 13 on her way to 14 points in addition to eight boards and seven steals and Nevaeh Jimenez went 8 of 12 on her way to 19 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. That's the most points Orona has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendyll Mayhugh, who posted four points in addition to nine boards and four steals.
Frontier Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Valley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.
Frontier Academy will take on Fowler in a tournament on Thursday. As for Valley, they will head out to take on Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
