The Springdale Dynamos will head out on the road to face off against the California Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of four wins, Springdale's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 69-56 to Clairton. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to California, who are still winless after their fourth contest. They took a 48-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of Charleroi on Wednesday. California has not had much luck with Charleroi recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jacob Ziolecki, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Those ten rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Vincent Manzella was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
Springdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for California, they bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Springdale barely slipped by California in their previous matchup back in February of 2018, winning 34-33. Will Springdale repeat their success, or does California have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
