It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Kennedy Cougars can now relate to. They took a 20-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles on Friday.
Amyne Darensbourg threw for 173 yards and a touchdown.
Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Archbishop Shaw, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Archbishop Shaw will head out on the road to face off against St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Thomas More knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 12 matches -- so hopefully Archbishop Shaw likes a good challenge.
