While Corinth's victory against Argyle wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Riverhawks won by a run and slipped past the Scots 12-11. The win continues a trend for the Riverhawks in their matchups with the Scots: they've now won three in a row.

Dylan Halliday was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Halliday, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Corinth always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Corinth picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Argyle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
