The Kingsburg Vikings will venture away from home to face off against the Redwood Rangers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kingsburg is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Kingsburg is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bullard on Tuesday, sneaking past 12-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted against the Knights since April 17, 2021.

The team relied heavily on Sarah Urbieta, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reygan Jones, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI.
Meanwhile, Redwood won against Mission Oak on Wednesday with two runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. Redwood didn't even let Pioneer Valley on the board, marking Redwood's second-straight 2-0 shutout. The win was familiar territory for the Rangers, who have now won three matches in a row.
Redwood also got a great performance from Reagan King as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. King has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Redwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Lopez, who went 2-for-4 with one triple. That triple was Lopez's first of the season.
Kingsburg pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to strikeouts: they averaged an imposing 10.17 strikeouts in those games compared to only 3.4 in the others. As for Redwood, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.
Redwood's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kingsburg hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .347. It's a different story for Redwood, though, as they've only averaged .228. Will they be able to contain Kingsburg's hitters?
