Wilson has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Healdton Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Wilson beat Elmore City-Pernell 49-38.
Meanwhile, Healdton entered their tilt with Springer with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Healdton came out on top against Springer by a score of 40-30 on Saturday.
Healdton relied on the efforts of Jamiel Franklin, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds, and Preston Wolf, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals. The match was Wolf's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cade Ellis, who scored 6 points.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 3-0 season records intact.
Everything came up roses for Wilson against Healdton in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 54-20 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wilson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
