The Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.4 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They blew past Christian Academy of Knoxville, posting a 42-6 win at home. The result was nothing new for Christ Presbyterian Academy, who have now won seven matchups by 27 points or more so far this season.
Christ Presbyterian Academy can attribute much of their success to Braden Streeter, who threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. Jackson Mathews also helped out with an impressive 88 receiving yards.
Christ Presbyterian Academy's victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 10-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 36.5 points per game. As for Christian Academy of Knoxville, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Coincidentally, Christ Presbyterian Academy and Christian Academy of Knoxville will both be playing University School of Jackson the next time they take the field. Christian Academy of Knoxville will head out to face University School of Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Christ Presbyterian Academy will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
