Volleyball Recap: South Iron Has No Trouble Against Clearwater

South Iron won the last time they faced Clearwater and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Fightin' Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

While South Iron won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-9, 25-13.

Ellie Parker paced South Iron's offense, picking up 12 kills. Parker got some help from Alayna Darian and her 13 assists. Parker also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Alee Martin, each putting up three.

South Iron's victory bumped their record up to 7-19. As for Clearwater, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-29.

South Iron has already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Lesterville on the 22nd. Clearwater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
