Softball Recap: Linden-Kildare Has No Trouble Against Pewitt

Linden-Kildare won the last time they faced Pewitt and things went their way on Tuesday too. Linden-Kildare blew past Pewitt 14-2. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by nine runs or more this season.

Allyssa Dixon was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Watson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Dixon wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Linden-Kildare kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pewitt only managed six hits.

Linden-Kildare is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. Pewitt dropped their record down to 5-8 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Linden-Kildare will have a chance to go back-to-back against Pewitt: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
