1A-2 Region III District 11 recap October 8, 2013
Mt. Enterprise scaled the state rankings by moving to 964 from 1,021 this week, the biggest jump in 1A-2 Region III District 11. The Wildcats were able to move up by beating Timpson 20-15.
Tenaha's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jr Hill has thrown for 544 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Keontas Davis has 12 catches for 226 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Tenaha takes on Sabine Pass. The Tigers are in first place, while the Sharks are in fourth place.
Mt. Enterprise made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,017 from 11,997. The improvement was the result of a 20-15 victory over the Bears last week.
