The Warner Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They put the hurt on Horizon Prep with a sharp 54-30 victory. Considering Warner has won three matchups by more than 23 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Warner found their leader in underclassman Anthony Porras , who scored 17 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Omar Acosta, who scored 10 points.
Warner's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Horizon Prep, they have fallen quite a ways from their 18-6 record last season and are now at 1-3.
Warner will face off against West Shores at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Horizon Prep, they will be playing at home against Julian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Julian is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
