Valor Academy claimed a resounding 57-20 win over Lake Balboa College Prep on the road. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-4.
Despite the loss, Lake Balboa College Prep saw an underclassman step up: TYRONE NASIBIAN-WINBORN scored two points along with six steals.
The win makes it two in a row for Valor Academy and bumps their season record up to 6-3. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valor Academy will face off against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Balboa College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Magnolia Science Academy Reseda at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
