The Etiwanda Eagles will take on the La Habra Highlanders at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Etiwanda's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Wednesday. They put the hurt on Los Osos with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kimberlee Aleman made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, she posted three strikeouts, the most she's had since back in June of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Dailynn Battee, who fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Karrington Bennett, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Etiwanda always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Los Osos only posted an OBP of .222.
Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only La Habra walked away with it. They blew past the Highlanders/Scots 11-1 on Thursday. The win was familiar territory for the Highlanders, who have now won six matches in a row.
La Habra also got a great performance from Madison Payne as she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. Payne has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Alyssa Hernandez was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Milee Valencia was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
La Habra's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games. As for Etiwanda, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.
