The Central Bucks West Bucks will face off against the Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Bucks West hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

Jacob Greer made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and fired off two home runs while going 2-for-4. He also scored two runs, which is notable because Central Bucks West is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 6-8 otherwise. Colin Lydon also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Holy Ghost Prep never got on the board in their matchup on Saturday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against William Penn Charter on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the Quakers. Considering the Firebirds have won nine contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Holy Ghost Prep also got a great performance from Dalton Dydak as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. What's more, Dydak posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025.
At the plate, Eddie Rosado was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Jake Keaser, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Holy Ghost Prep now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Central Bucks West, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Central Bucks West has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Holy Ghost Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Central Bucks West might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Holy Ghost Prep when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Bucks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
