If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Enloe. On Friday they take on Millbrook at 7:00 PM. Enloe are coming into the contest hot, having won five in a row.
Enloe were able to grind out a solid win over Sanderson last Friday, winning 42-35. No one put up better numbers for Enloe than senior Hamilton Moore, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 378 yards and 6 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Millbrook have had to suffer through a 4-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Southeast Raleigh 44-13. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Millbrook had established a 37-7 advantage.
Their wins bumped Millbrook to 1-4 and Enloe to 5-0. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Enloe and Millbrook will really light up the scoreboard.
