Santa Rosa Academy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Temecula Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rangers are taking a road trip to face off against the Patriots at 3:30 p.m. Santa Rosa Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
On Wednesday, Santa Rosa Academy made easy work of California Military Institute and carried off an 18-4 win. The Rangers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by seven runs or more this season.

Zhoey Heraz was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Paloma Pedini was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Lisa Marie Cante, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Santa Rosa Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Temecula Prep got themselves on the board against Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School on Wednesday, but Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 7-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won seven in a row.
Santa Rosa Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Temecula Prep, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-9.
Everything went Santa Rosa Academy's way against Temecula Prep in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Santa Rosa Academy made off with a 21-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
