Bloomington Central Catholic won against El Paso-Gridley on Tuesday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Saints were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Heyworth Hornets. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by seven runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Bloomington Central Catholic and bumps their season record up to 18-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Heyworth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-13.

Looking ahead, Bloomington Central Catholic will welcome Mahomet-Seymour at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Saints surely won't give up without a fight. As for Heyworth, they will head out on the road to challenge Normal West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
