It was a good run, but the North Thurston Rams unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 68-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for North Thurston in their matchups with Lincoln: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, North Thurston still got an impressive performance from Ray Adams, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds. Adams is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Conner Seward, who scored ten points.
North Thurston's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
North Thurston will head out on the road to square off against Central Kitsap at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Kitsap will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 241st, while North Thurston is ranked 16th). As for Lincoln, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Mount Tahoma at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Mount Tahoma has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 406 points over their last six contests.
