Oxnard took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They breezed past the Hueneme Vikings to the tune of 59-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Yellowjackets' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Vikings are ranked 261st).

Oxnard didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Jazzlene Dominguez led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. Mariah Tutt got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Hueneme is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Oxnard has already played their next contest, a 49-0 victory against Channel Islands on the 14th. As for Hueneme, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 59-6 loss against Dos Pueblos on the 14th.
