Randleman waltzed into Tuesday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They walked away with a 52-45 win over Asheboro. Given Randleman's advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 229th, while Asheboro is ranked 490th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Randleman's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Chenleigh Robinson, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals, and Audra Petty, who scored 23 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Petty has scored at least 25% of Randleman's points. Another player making a difference was Bella Byman, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Northwest Guilford didn't have too much breathing room in their match against R.J. Reynolds on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 30-25 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Northwest Guilford.
Randleman's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Northwest Guilford, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
