The Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Holy Cross Knights at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th.
Last Friday, Hill Country Christian School of Austin took a serious blow against the Bears, falling 72-38. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hill Country Christian School of Austin has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Holy Cross put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat John Paul II 77-46 at home. Given Holy Cross' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 580th, while the Centurions are ranked 1254th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hill Country Christian School of Austin's defeat dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Holy Cross, they pushed their record up to 15-10 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Hill Country Christian School of Austin beat the Knights 71-59 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Does Hill Country Christian School of Austin have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
