The St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Centreville Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Wednesday, St. Philip Catholic Central strolled past Hillsdale Academy with points to spare, taking the game 54-40.
Meanwhile, Centreville entered their tilt with Cassopolis with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Centreville snuck past Cassopolis with a 58-52 win on Thursday.
St. Philip Catholic Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Centreville, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1.
St. Philip Catholic Central was taken down by Centreville 62-32 in their previous meeting back in February of 2017. Can St. Philip Catholic Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
