Wagoner has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Catoosa Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Catoosa took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Wagoner, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Wagoner beat the Pirates 43-35.
Meanwhile, Catoosa's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 18th straight defeat. They were outmatched by Hilldale at home and fell 56-20. Catoosa was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-8.
Despite the defeat, Catoosa saw an underclassman step up: Kloie Bristol scored 13 points.
Wagoner pushed their record up to 13-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Catoosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.
Everything came up roses for Wagoner against the Indians in their previous matchup last Saturday as the team secured a 62-18 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wagoner since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
