4A Region 4 recap September 17, 2013
Noxubee County was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in 4A Region 4. Earlier in the week, the Tigers triumphed over Aberdeen 39-21.
Noxubee County was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting the Bulldogs. Tyrone Shorter's team came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 29 last week.
Jamall Collins and Jamari Green gave Leake Central a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Collins threw for 63 yards, while Green ran for 131 yards. Lavonta Luckett also contributed to the rushing game with 85 yards on the ground.

J.J. Jones was the best receiver in the league this week as Houston fell to East Webster. Jones tallied 2 receptions for 44 yards.
Collins put up the best numbers through the air as Leake Central beat Canton. Collins' favorite target this week was Lavonte Dillard, who caught 2 passes for 31 yards.
Green provided a threat through the air and on the ground as John Sallis' team topped the Tigers.
Green was the most successful running back in the league this week.
The Gators added to the longest winning streak in 4A Region 4 this week by beating Canton, 20-10. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
