 Meanwhile, Pinewood Prep faced A.C. Flora in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Pinewood Prep sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a  2-1  win over A.C. Flora  on Thursday. The  win was familiar territory for Pinewood Prep who now have four in a row.
 Waccamaw's win bumped their record up to 4-1-1. As for Pinewood Prep, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-1.
