Northwood scaled the state rankings by moving to 606 from 690 this week, the biggest jump in Pacific Coast. The Timberwolves climbed the ranks as a result of beating Laguna Beach 35-19.
University fell to Garden Grove 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Allahason Jenkins was a bright spot for the Trojans, as he ran for 15 yards in the defeat.
Brian Abel threw for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns. He went 15-23 with 0 interceptions.
Abel put up the best numbers in passing as Northwood topped the Breakers. Abel's favorite target this week was Andy Clyde, who caught 8 passes for 102 yards.
