Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Winslow). Everything went their way against Tournament Opponent on Friday as the Winslow Bulldogs made off with a 27-5 victory. The win was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on four straight.
Kyah Wilcox made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time she hasn't allowed a single hit since back in February of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 4-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Angela Salazar was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, five RBI, and one triple. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Rylie Sharp, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Winslow always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .833. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
