The Choteau Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 42-22 walloping at the hands of Whitehall.
Zoey Tobar was Choteau's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Ava Gunderson held things down on the boards with five rebounds. Gunderson took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with five assists.
Choteau has yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 0-3 record. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.0 points per game. As for Whitehall, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Choteau will head out on the road to face off against Shelby at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shelby and Choteau are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. Whitehall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
